Born in 1989 and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Courtney Green’s story began with a basketball and a bold vision. From a young age, she was determined to rise — not just in sports, but in life. She went on to become Miss Alabama Basketball 2008, 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year, and earned titles as both 3A and 4A Player of the Year, leading Midfield High School to two state championships.

 

Courtney took her talents to Louisiana State University (LSU) as a Division I athlete, later playing professionally in Portugal. But beyond the courts and accolades, she’s always been a woman of faith, purpose, and family.

 

Today, Courtney is a devoted wife, mother of five (including twins), entrepreneur, mental health advocate, and founder of the Legacy Ladies Summit.

 

Her mission is to create faith-filled spaces for women to be seen, supported, and strengthened through healing, leadership, and legacy. When she’s not empowering women or writing her next book, Courtney finds joy in traveling, cooking soulful meals, and simply being surrounded by the love of her family. She’s living proof that you can carry grace and grit, wear both crowns and sneakers, and build something beautiful from every season of your life.
